I took an absolutely wonderful precious metal clay (PMC) class from Lydia Johns yesterday. She was my fourth beginner metal clay teacher. I'm finally not afraid to open a package and make something at home. Lydia is a wonderful person and an EXCELLENT teacher. She taught in the real world, in real schools, and she knows how to keep us motivated, on track, and keep an eye on all of us so she can stop a mistake from happening. I have wanted to take her PMC 101 class for a while and always had a schedule conflict.
If you live in Austin or Central Texas, keep an eye on the Blue Moon Glassworks web site for upcoming classes. Lydia's class is well worth the money and it's fun too!
Here's what I made from a 28 oz. package, with a tiny bit of clay left over.
